We have hit the problem with systems that the routing might not be as expected and that we aren't pointed to the version we though
To help mitigate that we're thinking to have a version route that we can use to confirm the api is hitting the version we expect
similar value as site_def but site def is local to the machine and thus can not be representative
we have alive routes, as long as we have a version we can consistently check for the service the need is met
