ECONNREFUSED error

I really wanted to make this program work on my phone, but when trying to pair the device by entering the code and port, I get the message "Pairing Failed: failed to connect to /127.0.0.1 (port {number}) from /: (port {different number}): connect failed: ECONNREFUSED (Co..." and the rest is cut off by the notification window and cannot be read. Restarting my phone and attempting the third step over does not change anything. It is also impossible to restart my phone or uninstall and reinstall anyapk to try USB debugging instead - it just takes me back to the steps for wireless debugging and the PC side commands fail to locate ADB even though it is installed and my phone is connected and visible.

Same here. On Honor 200pro, android 16. when entered the couple of codes it gives connection refused error. Then it hangs until the system ask to close the app. BTW, shizuku is paired correctly

Though I come largely from a position of ignorance, I believe this comment way well be of interest to ANYONE concerned with the program -- same error here ( similar struggles as others in comments on the board). Difference: it occured to me google might have a finger in the pie. I don't have a google account registered on my device -- don't use the playstore ( was once a Verizon phone), but do have updates (seemingly from Verizon -- have left their card in, as if that matters) -- but I've had evidence of some security program at work (it's a Moto phone). What I did (after trying unsuccessfully 3 times in 3 different places): I TURNED OFF the PERMISSION of the GOOGLE PLAY STORE APP to MODIFY SYSTEM SETTINGS! A brief while later -- without my doing anything else, and after having previously received the same ECONNREFUSED error notice -- I then received a message along the lines, from the app, that I was in, peachy keen! (Tested it by downloading apk file onto machine -- of a new pipe update from their GitHub releases page -- with stargon browser -- chose my cx file explorer app in anyapp, found apk file under downloads, checked it, then had to hit, I believe, another check mark at bottom of the page to have the anyapp put it on my machine: voila, no fuss or message, the version had changed). Ignore as will most of this -- someone I should think will want to confirm what the deal is with my having turned off Google's permission anent my system files, and then suddenly the app is working! Hope somebody does..
