Feature Request: Move pdf-deanimate script to own repository and package as Python module

I just wanted to get your thoughts on moving the pdf-deanimate script to its own repo. This would allow it to be packaged as a Python module as some people might just want to use this functionality quickly without the pdf2msvg.sh script currently in the repo.
