Compatibility with scvi-tools

Hi, thank you for the great effort.

Many of us rely on scvi-tools for probabilistic modeling. are there any plans to make annbatch work with scvi-tools data-loaders (more specifically replace their dls).

Thanks so much for opening the issue! Yes scverse/scvi-tools#3620 is in progress- @ori-kron-wis anything we can do from our end to move things along? We are making minor-version guarantees now so the API should be stable

We have a branch to support the annbatch dataloader, as you can see. We are waiting for this package to be stable enough, and then we will merge and release it in scvi-tools also.
For now, you can install scvi-tools from this branch and use it; it works (see a how-to example in one of the test functions we have there, e.g: https://github.com/scverse/scvi-tools/pull/3620/changes#diff-089501f59f865ddb5fda755d9b6d57712c8f1ecd5b08d3cee1c8a0b03534e98fR1209. Right now, it only supports the basic VAE model
