bug: Font search not working on mobile (dropdown closes automatically)

Description

The Google Fonts search works correctly on desktop/laptop browsers. However, on the mobile website, the search inside the font dropdown does not work. When the user taps the search input, the dropdown opens briefly and then closes automatically, making it impossible to type or search.

• Platform: Mobile web (tested on phone browsers)
• Works on: Desktop / Laptop browsers
• Fails on: Mobile browsers (touch devices)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the website on a mobile phone.
2. Navigate to the font selection dropdown.
3. Tap on the dropdown to open it.
4. Tap on the search input inside the dropdown.

Actual Behavior

• The dropdown opens and immediately closes.
• The search input loses focus.
• User cannot type or search for fonts.

Expected Behavior

• The dropdown should remain open.
• The search input should retain focus.
• User should be able to type and filter Google Fonts on mobile, same as desktop.

Impact

• Mobile users cannot search or select fonts efficiently.
• Feature parity between desktop and mobile is broken.

I’m currently unable to reproduce this issue on mobile browsers after recent changes. The font dropdown and search input now remain open and usable on touch devices in my testing.
