Publish new 0.99.6 version

The current versions you get from recent Ubuntu/Debian (probably most other distros too) is 0.99.2 which is quite old.
It would be great if the new version could be made available thru standard update.

There is version 0.99.5 in Ubuntu 24.10 and version 0.99.6 in Ubuntu 25.04 (see https://repology.org/project/shutter/versions). Unfortunately, I don't expect Ubuntu to backport 0.99.6 to older Ubuntu versions and there's not much we can do about it...

I am using U24.04 and D12. Though this would mean effort to you, providing .deb packages alternatively for LTS systems which could be installed manually, would be great - if possible 😅

@logix2 ... is there any reason the official PPA stops at Ubuntu 21.10 ? I've read the PPA description where it says 22.04 onwards has Shutter in the official repositories...

But since 22.04 has an expected usefulness from April 2022 up until April 2027 (the normal 5 year security updates lifetime)... or even up until April 2032 (the ESM security updates lifetime)...

And 24.04 has an expected usefulness from April 2024 up until April 2029 (the normal 5 year security updates lifetime)... or even up until April 2034 (the ESM security updates lifetime)...

Then it makes sense not to limit the PPA to only do builds for Impish and older? Especially as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 users are stuck with a version (0.99.2) that lacks bug fixes from the last 4 stable releases (over about 3 years).

Is there any reason the PPA is configured like this? it's my understanding the builds would be automatic, so it should be trivial to just add in the later LTS's (22.04 and 24.04) at the very least.

I recently looked how to fix this, and apparently for every ubuntu release we'd need to add it there explicitly. Not sure about the automatic option, the one I found required uploading the .deb to every release manually. TBH, I got lost in the docs about PPA, should try it again
