Is it possible for the software to default to saving to PDF?

I use software on a computer that several people use.
And there is a possibility that every time the software is opened, all the settings will not be saved And that's good for us.
Only most people use scanning as scanning to PDF
Is there a possibility that the scanning settings will be reset but the default will remain PDF?

While I don't intend on allowing users to pick their own default values, PDF will be the new default format for v4 since it is used for more than 80% of all scans anyway. That should solve your issue as well.
