The @eclipse-ide package is now officially maintained at https://github.com/eclipse-linuxtools/eclipse-ide-snap, where you are, of course, invited to participate. Thanks for the initiative.

If you are interested in the new Electron based @eclipse-theia editor, please see https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia-ide-snap which is now under the https://snapcraft.io/publisher/eclipsefoundation umbrella as well.
