Descriptive Plan of Execution & Implementation Details

To implement "Routines/Rituals", we first need to define what a Routine is in the context of Mindloop. A Routine acts as a group of Habits or Tasks to be performed in sequence (e.g., "Morning Routine").

1. Data Model (models/types.go)

• Create a Routine struct (Title, TimeOfDay).
• Create a many-to-many relationship mapping table RoutineHabits (or simply add a RoutineID to Habit if a habit belongs to exactly one routine).

2. Core Logic (internal/core/routine/)

• Implement CRUD operations for routines.
• Logic to "Complete Routine" which iterates through all linked habits/tasks and marks them as done for the day.

3. API & Web UI (api/v1/ and web/templates/)

• Add endpoints for /routines.
• Create a new template routines.html or integrate it into the habits.html dashboard as grouped sections.
• UI flow to group existing habits into a newly created routine.

4. CLI (cmd/cli/)

• Add commands: mindloop routine create "Morning", mindloop routine add-habit --routine "Morning" --habit-id 1.
