Version 4.25.0 introduced a breaking change in a minor version update

Version 4.25.0 dropped support for the legacy architecture, which is a breaking change, but this was released as a minor version update. This should have been released as version 5.0.0.

This is not a bug report, there is no reproduction needed.

The drop of the support for the legacy arch comes naturally with the moving window of the react-native versions range we support. React Native no longer supports it, neither will we. It's high time for the transition.
Regarding whether this is 100% compliant with the semantic versioning - likely not, in react native ecosystem it's debatable, but it's done.
