Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I currently find it inconvenient when trying to access and manage various content sources. I often have to visit multiple websites or apps separately to get the information I need. There is no easy way to aggregate and organize different types of content from various platforms. For example, I follow multiple blogs, news websites, and podcasts, and having to check each one individually takes a lot of time and effort. I wish there was a more efficient way to manage all these content sources in one place, and supporting OPML (Outline Processor Markup Language) subscriptions would be a great solution as it can help in importing and organizing different content feeds.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like the application/ platform to support OPML subscriptions. This would allow me to import an OPML file that contains a list of various content sources such as RSS feeds for blogs, podcasts, news articles, etc. Once imported, the platform should be able to display and manage these sources in an organized manner. It should also be able to update the content from these sources regularly, similar to how an RSS reader works. I'd like to be able to create folders and categories to group related content sources, and easily access and view the new content from all the subscribed sources within the platform.
Describe alternatives you've considered
One alternative I've considered is using multiple RSS readers that support importing OPML files. However, most of these readers have limitations in terms of the types of content they can display or the customization options available. Another alternative is to use browser extensions that can aggregate content from different sources, but these extensions often have compatibility issues and may not support all the types of content I want to manage. Also, they don't provide as comprehensive a solution as a dedicated platform that fully supports OPML subscriptions.
Additional context
I have attached a sample OPML file (not really attached here, but just as an example) that contains a list of some popular RSS feeds from blogs and news websites. This shows the potential of what could be achieved if OPML subscription support was added to the platform. Also, many other similar platforms in the market already support OPML subscriptions, and having this feature would make the application more competitive and user-friendly for content consumers like me who manage a large number of content sources.
