Translations

Would love an option to use hamfisted in Dutch or English.

Even though the questions are for the German laws and regulations, I still bet it would be a great learning aid.

Would it be difficult to localize the app? I suppose I could always translate the questions and then build it in a different language for personal use.

If you want to attempt this, you could translate the questions and answers in data/questions.json, then run scripts/parse.rb to render everything as vector graphics via LaTeX, and then run convert-to-si.rb to compress the resulting SVG files and compile the app. Running everything through LaTeX results in good quality but leads to a rather big app, so I wouldn't include translations in the official release, but feel free to try it!

I was so confused when you said translating 'data/questions.json' but I suppose you meant 'bnetza-2024/fragenkatalog3b.json', think I'll have a look tomorrow to see if it's hours, or days, of work 😅

Yeah, sorry, you're right. questions.json is the file generated by parse.rb
