Hello, World! I'm Sebastián (SebaSOFT) 👾
I am a Software Engineer and Tech Lead based in San Juan, Argentina, with over 26 years of experience building high-performance systems and managing complex architectures. By day, I focus on clean code and scalable solutions; by night, I channel my passion for Tabletop RPGs and game development into open-source tools that elevate the digital roleplaying experience.
🎲 What I Build
My mission is to create immersive, highly functional tools for the TTRPG community. My current flagship open-source project is walls-have-ears, a FoundryVTT module that calculates sound acoustics to realistically muffle audio behind digital walls.
I am actively expanding this ecosystem. Currently in development:
- Advanced RPG Dice Engine: A high-performance system designed to handle complex, nested roll mechanics efficiently.
- Rules Scripting Engine: A flexible framework allowing Game/App developers to implement custom rule sets and logic directly into their applications and games.
💡 Why Sponsor Me?
Maintaining and evolving open-source architecture requires significant time, rigorous testing, and continuous spec-driven development. Your sponsorship provides the necessary support to keep these tools free, reliable, and constantly improving.
Funding allows me to:
- Dedicate focused hours to writing and maintaining clean, community-driven code.
- Ensure compatibility with the latest FoundryVTT updates and other core systems.
- Cover infrastructure and testing environment costs.
🚀 The Roadmap & Perks
When you sponsor this project, you are investing in the future of TTRPG tooling. As the sponsor base grows, I aim to open up specific benefits for recurring supporters, including:
- Early Access: Test drive the new dice and scripting engines before their public release.
- Feature Voting: Have a direct voice in the development roadmap and mechanics priority.
- Direct Feedback: Priority tracking for your bug reports and feature requests.
Let's build the ultimate digital tabletop toolset together. Every tier makes a difference!
