Always show all genes

Each time the panel that shows the genes is loaded, I have to click Resize to make sure that all genes are visible. Is there not a way to make sure that all genes are always shown?

I could potentially do this by logging the list of genes and then manually firing the resize button, but i'm wondering if there is a better way.

Any help appreciated.
