Ability to determine plugin version

Reported in #47, it appears there's no way to find the current version of the plugin.

A simple strategy would be to create GitHub releases with a tag, so that the version can be nominated when installing the plugin, rather than using the main branch. This stamps the version in the .yarnrc.yml to satisfy the original issue, allows you to use the main branch for development and facilitates maintaining a changelog and producing release notes.
