ST3 compatibility

This works on ST3 if you just remove the 'print' statements.

It would be nice to get this compatible with ST3, but can I safely remove all the print statements? It’s been a long time since I touched this code, and I must admit that I don’t remember what the print statements do any more, but the one on line 105 looks like it might actually ... do something?

I think that those prints are just printing to the console (for debugging maybe?). That function still works for me with it commented out (since it puts the content into the killring right there as well).
