Internal JVM exception running key protect SDK on Java version > 9 #53
Description
When running unit tests for the key protect KMS submodule, an internal exception due to a sdk module not updated for java modules in Java version 9 and up. Work around is to run junit with special VM params:
--add-opens java.base/java.lang=ALL-UNNAMED
This is a workaround for Java versions 9-11. The master pom.xml has been updated to specifiy the above VM args when running junit.
Ultimately the SDK must be updated. To this end, I have created an issue for IBM's key protect SDK. Details there:
