How do I enter kernel mode so that Steamdeck can modify and actually use IP routes?

Is there a command for this?

SteamOS refuse to take IP route on userspace mode ?

Tailscale on SteamOS runs as root and should not be running in userspace mode. Can you share more information about any error messages or issues you're encountering? Anything that helps me reproduce on my own Steam Deck would be good.
