Package Installation - **Added**: `@vercel/analytics` (version ^2.0.1) to dependencies - **Files Modified**: - `package.json` - Added @vercel/analytics to dependencies - `package-lock.json` - Updated with new package and its dependencies ### 2. Analytics Component Integration - **File Modified**: `src/app/layout.tsx` - **Changes**: - Added import: `import { Analytics } from '@vercel/analytics/next';` - Added `` component to the root layout, placed inside the `` tag after the ServiceWorkerRegistration component - Follows Next.js App Router best practices ## Implementation Details ### Why These Changes? - **Framework-Specific**: Used the official Next.js App Router integration method from Vercel's documentation - **Placement**: The Analytics component is placed at the end of the body tag to: - Ensure proper route tracking - Not block critical rendering path - Follow the exact pattern from official documentation - **Import Path**: Used `@vercel/analytics/next` which is the Next.js-specific export providing seamless integration with Next.js routing ### Testing & Verification All tests and checks passed successfully: - ✅ TypeScript compilation: No type errors - ✅ ESLint: No linting errors - ✅ Production build: Compiled successfully - ✅ Unit tests: All 110 tests passed (0 failures) ### Next Steps for Deployment To enable Web Analytics on Vercel: 1.
