Zone updates are either slow or not showing up

Hi, Firstly well done on where you have brought this integration to. I helped to a small degree with the original Crow runner integration and still use that on my on older alarm here in New Zealand.

So we use these ECi boards at our place of work, two of them with 16 zones each connected to the local network via a Ubiquiti UDM and switch with gigabit fiber links between. The whole site runs on a windows 2019 server domain with active directory.

We are running home assistant (latest version) on a VM and have installed the integration as per your instructions.

The main office system seems to be responding but not to every trigger of the PIR's and beams.

The secondary system does not seem to be showing any zone triggers at all, and this system has the same settings as the main one.

On both systems, from HA we can bypass the zones and see it change in the alarm web gui's, but one issue is the icon changes in HA but does not change back. (under controls in the integration page).

Both alarm panels are running 10.3.52

Is there any problem in having two systems running with the integration?

In your installation instructions you mention about changing the update interval, where in the yaml is this located?
I could only find this in init.py around line 184?

Thanks for your time and keep up the good work, this would be a game changer for our automated onsite systems if we can get it to work properly.

Hi Simon,

For the update interval you can change this in the Arrowhead integration settings:

Go to settings->Devices and Services click on the Arrowhead Integration and click the cog

The update interval can be changed on this screen below.

I have mine to 10 and it works well.

Hmmm that sounds like the integration did not install correctly. I have had that before and solved it by re-downloading from HACS.

Thank you for your reply, and another update.
It appears to be working a lot better than it was, I will keep testing and let you know how we get on.
It would be really great if we can use this integration to be able to trigger other automations based on sensor triggers for the business owner. We are working on triggering notifications, cameras, lighting and gate locks etc based on triggers. So if a certain zone is triggered, all they have to do is look at a page on HA to see what has been triggered and get a camera view of the area.

One question, the error I have been getting when I press the cog icon. I have tried totally reinstalling the integration and still this error persists. Any idea what this may be caused by?

Hi Simon, thank you!
Regarding the cog icon error - I haven't encountered this on my setup, so it might be related to having two panels configured. To help diagnose this, could you please:

Send the Home Assistant logs when you click the cog icon:

Go to Settings → System → Logs → "Load Full Logs"
Or enable debug logging by adding this to your configuration.yaml:

logger:
    default: info
    logs:
      custom_components.arrowhead_alarm: debug

Then restart HA, trigger the error, and share the logs.

Test with only one panel - Could you temporarily remove one of the integrations and see if the cog icon works with just a single panel? This will help determine if the issue is specifically related to having multiple instances.

Thanks for your help on this. Have done that and it all seems to be working fine apart from updating the zone names manually.

When I press the cog icon, I get this

What does the Translation error mean?

Also when I select to set the custom names for the zones, it gives me the list to change, thats fine.
But when I press to submit the changes it just gives me the blank form back? and does not update the zone names.

Thanks what you have done so far, its looking pretty good and for many this is going to enable a lot of automations and features not usually available to them.

Good Morning thanoskas,
Great work on the update.

The Panel Options error seems to have gone and everything apart from the Configure zone names seems to be working.

Still when you enter all the zone names, the menu still just reverts to a blank form when you press submit.
