Description
I deeply hope someone here can help me. I am running ONTHECITY with FIREFOX, JSPRINT and the DYMO label maker successfully using PORTEUS KIOSK environment (LINUX based, and before you say "not supported" PLEASE keep reading). The default DYMO PAGE SETUP wired into PORTEUS successfully persists when visiting other websites and apps but after printing ONCE using ONTHECITY (and JSPRINT) the default PAGE SETUP is set to something unusable.
PORTEUS KIOSK is the perfect environment for ONTHECITY. Running from a usb thumb drive on a x86 machine it is a TRUE kiosk that prevents all abuse by the users. I have a paid license for the ONTHECITY version and will happy share it with anybody willing to help diagnose/repair the issue.
My initial thoughts are: is there a bonafide bug? can the page setup attributes be reasserted via JSPRINT before/after printing to ensure persistence? Can an option be passed to ONTHECITY that will support this environment be created? how extensive is use of JSPRINT in ONTHECITY, is there a way to run without it even if extra prompts are sent to the user?
