There is a desire to import from ODOP into FreeCAD-Spring and to export from FreeCAD-Spring into ODOP.
FreeCAD-Spring needs only a small subset of the content of the current ODOP export (.json) file. It might be reasonable for FreeCAD-Spring to read the existing ODOP export format and ignore what it doesn't need.
There is a decision to be made with regard to how to handle Preferences and Property data on ODOP import of subset data exported from FreeCAD -Spring. See ODOP issue #1112 for details.
