Description

In the light theme, several buttons have insufficient text-to-background contrast, making the button labels difficult to read and reducing accessibility.This issue affects UI readability and user experience, particularly for users viewing the application in light mode.

Step to Reproduce

• Open the application.
• Switch to Light Theme.
• Navigate to the Climate Risk Analysis section.
• Observe the "Clear All", "Recent Searches", and "Clear History" buttons.

Current Behavior

• "Clear All" button text blends with the button background.
• "Recent Searches" and "Clear History" button labels appear faded and are hard to distinguish.
• Overall button readability is reduced in the light theme.

Expected behavior

• Button text should have sufficient contrast against the background.
• All button labels should remain clearly visible and readable in both light and dark themes.
• Accessibility standards should be considered.

I reviewed this issue and the problem appears to be caused by insufficient color contrast between the button text and background in light mode.

Based on the description, the affected buttons ("Clear All", "Recent Searches", and "Clear History") may be using text colors that work well in dark mode but do not provide enough visibility in the light theme.

A possible solution would be to:

• Update the text color to a darker shade in light mode
• Ensure the contrast ratio meets accessibility recommendations (WCAG guidelines)
• Verify consistency across all action buttons in both light and dark themes
• Test readability on different screen sizes and browsers

This should improve usability and make the button labels clearly visible without affecting the existing design.

I would be happy to investigate the affected components and implement the necessary fixes under SSoC 2026 if the maintainers agree with this approach.
