feature request: Add Analog style tuning face

Hello.

I am a hobbyist conductor and like this app for tuning sections and the results are always great.
Some of the members however dont have the greatest eyesight and whenever i let them use it they have troubling discerning where the dot is and how they have to readjust the instrument. So im thinking that an analog style tuning face spanning over the entire height of the app would be a good solution as it allows for good readability on a small screen.

This is the gStrings analog face and ive really grown to like it when i used that app. The "cent intervalls" appear to be spaced well drawing most attention to the +-5 cent intervall near the target tone.

If this cant be done then thats perfectly fine too, tho. This app is once again a proof that you dont need a fancy pants dedicated tuner to tune an orchestra and i will continue using it no matter what.

I actually liked the idea to not only show the current tuning value but also a bit of history, which most tuners don't. But I can of course understand your concern that for some people, the dot is not so quickly recognizable.

Who knows, it might not be needed to design a new UI here, but the maybe existing can be adjusted in a way that it is easier to read. Unfortunately this will not happen short term, since I have to organize my time a bit, what to do first :-). But I will keep this definitely in mind.

Yes. It is quite the conversation starter everytime i show it. 😃

Since i only use "chromatic" mode it appears that the top window uses up a lot of screen estate in my case. Is there a way to remove the top window? That might already do it.

There is this hidden feature:

1. Go to the instruments screen (pressing on the top button).
2. Press on the plus button at the bottom right.
3. Delete all available notes.
4. If you want, give the instrument a name or change the icon, but this is optional.
5. Save it and use it.

But this won't make the dot bigger ... so it might still be a compromise ...

This looks like it could be a solution. Imma try it out in practice during next rehearsal.
