hey is there a Linux vs or have anyone try to build this on linux ?

i think we had the command line version running on linux already, that mostly depends on ofxgit2, which should work on linux if you install libgit2-dev via a package manager.
i hope i will find some time over christmas to get the new version ready.
which distro are you using?

sure. if you want to support. you could check if the

• ofxGit2 example works for you
• clone ofPackageManager into your apps/myApps directory and run scripts/install_dependencies.sh
• then hopefully you can use it already. if you dont pass any cli parameters to it, it should start in gui mode
