Is the project still alive, there are no responses for the issues nor to the PRs

I'm cloning this repo and renamed it and renaming the packages too, as I cannot take ownership of this one nor the namespace in sonatype.

I'm more than happy to commit all my changes/fixes to this repo. Also, open to suggestions

hey @austek! i haven't been able to maintain jarchivelib for a while, just too busy with other stuff, so happy to refer users to compress4j if you are actively maintaining it!
