data sync stuck on initial band pairing

What happened?

After dusting off and charging my whoop 4.0 I paired it through the app. It immediately showed a syncing status, but the number of packets never changed from 0. I don't know if there was data left on the device. After closing the app and re-opening it it shows last in sync 0 (which sometimes goes up to 1 second) looking fine so far.

Not sure if it's expected behaviour that it continuously tries to sync while connected to the app.

After collecting some data I opened the app again. It syncs (as observed through the device events (More tab -> Device -> scroll down) but the sync packets always say 0.

Steps to reproduce

1. open app, pair device , observe syncing status

Expected behaviour

upon initial pairing I expect syncing to work (showing packets flowing in) or syncing to finish when there is no data on the device
