LED breathing doesn't stop on wake up

I'm on arch linux. when resuming from sleep, caps lock breathing doesn't stop. Switching to another backlight "page" stops the breathing.

This repository is a bit old and chibios is not the latest.

Tried flabbergast's repo(flabbergast branch)? it probably use newer chibios and are better supported.
