Mindwave Mobile not connecting

Hi,
I recently bought neurosky Mindwave Mobile headset. I have Thinkgear Connector version 3.2.4.0. The problem is that Thinkgear Connector software is showing me an Error: could not connect!. I have tried every thing from re pairing it to my laptop and to reinstalling the software but that didn't help. I also tried to connect it with my Android phone running on v5.0 firmware but the app still shows Disconnected icon.
Please help me.

Hey @sabheeh ,

I don't think this is a code/github issue, but many people with a Mindwave Mobile have emailed me with similar issues. So i'll list out possible solutions here (for osx)...

• make sure you have quit/exited the default ThinkGear apps - Thinkgear connector (this runs in background, appears in top right menu bar), Brainwave Visualiser, MindPlay, etc.
• Check the device name by going into terminal and typing
  ls /dev/tty.*
  This should list all BT devices, including your device, eg. '/dev/tty.BrainBand-DevB'. Make sure this is the path you entered in the BrainwaveOSC's data/settings.xml file.
• Remove the paired device from your System preferences -> Bluetooth. Then repair.
