Size Look Up Tables

Size of most LUTs are defined by two parameters

• number of bins (500 hundred by default)
• temperatore precision (0.1 degree by default)

In #19 Sylvain warned that such default parameters may not cover every simulation parameters' space.

Number of bins should be set programmatically after scanning the input configuration, and particularly the climate input file.

Since:

• several LUTs depend on user-defined simulation parameters (Cair, klight, absorptance_leaves, etc.)
• it would be safer to check the number of bins against the climate parameters

The compile-time approach is not relevant. A runtime caching solution would be a better fit.

@sylvainschmitt do you have in mind the kind of conditions or limits that should be checked in the climate data to size the LUTs accordingly?

Not completely, but this should be easy with a quick check. For instance there are at least the VPD and temperature maximum value. I can have a look as soon as you need it.
