This is low priority, but I wanted to open an issue to list other dispersed TROLL material as I think most should go back to the TROLL repository and if not at least into the troll-model organization.
TROLL
Legacy - Jérôme, Isabelle, Fabian, Sylvain
We suggested in July's Montpelier meeting to list a bit TROLL legacy versions. I think we could stop at published version. However, during my postdoc at AMAP in 2023, I started to list version I had knowledge of in the following repository : https://github.com/sylvainschmitt/TROLL_legacy (see ARCHIVE.md). I'll let the repo open until we take advantage of the information and I think it should be deleted in the long term. The repository is listing a lot of version but I'll detail a few other repository below.
Disturbance & Sylviculture - Sylvain
The work of my master 2 thesis with the disturbance module and the sylviculture module are dispersed in the EcoFoG organization at https://github.com/EcoFoG/TROLL/blob/a306343a51c4d5403bcf4b1e48ba3e101e7bbfdd/TROLL/main_2.3.1.cpp and with my own fork https://github.com/sylvainschmitt/TROLL_msc . The disturbance module is behind the 2020 paper in Journal of Ecology but as it is rather simplistic I don't think it make sense to integrate it the main trunk. The sylviculture module was never published and has been a bit the basis of the development of the R package LoggingLab https://github.com/VincyaneBadouard/LoggingLab . So Similarly I think this is more archived projects.
Lianas and lightning - David Medgivy
The liana and lightning developments produced by David Medgivy are available in a TROLL fork (https://github.com/davidmedvigy/TROLL) and / or an rcontroll fork (https://github.com/davidmedvigy/rcontroll).
Reproduction & masting - Bruno Pinho, Audrey Bourgois, Theo Boiteux
To the best of my knowledge, Bruno Pinho's version with reproduction improvement for fragment modelling is not available online (to check with Isabelle), but is the base of the version of Audrey Bourgois's internship version on the masting branch of rcontroll: https://github.com/sylvainschmitt/rcontroll/tree/masting and is also partly integrated in the version of Theo Boiteux's internship on his fork: https://github.com/Lycaon-bzz/rcontroll .
Species crown allometry - Nicholas Russo
The version with species crown allometry for Nicholas Russo's postdoc is available on the nrusso branch of rcontroll: https://github.com/sylvainschmitt/rcontroll/tree/nrusso .
Water table depth - Bianca Rius
The version with water table depth dynamics for Bianca Rius' postdoc is available on Bianca fork of rcontroll: https://github.com/BiancaRius/rcontroll_WTD . I'm not sure she is active with it, and probably most development are not online.
Misc
I'm listing (maybe only for myself) other personal material linked to TROLL and on GitHub that could move from my account to troll-model organization:
