ArduinoComm(Speed)Test can't find or connect to Arduino with ArduinoTimingTest flashed on it

Hi, I connected an Arduino UNO via USB to my Windows 10 and flashed the project ArduinoTimingTest on it. Flashing (Uploading) was successful and therefore to communication seems to work. The problem is, that neither the ArduinoCommTest nor the ArduinoCommSpeedTest find any connected Arduino. I also modified the software in the way, that I just manually inserted the com port. However also this fails. Do you have any idea, where the problem could be?

With the ArduinoTask program flashed on the Arduino, the ArduinoComm(Speed)Test are able to find the connected Arduino (they display, that the Arduino is connected on comm port 0) but if I than choose this comm port, the connection fails (See screenshot).

With which combination of Arduino program and test software can I get a successful connection? Could you may briefly explain, for what the different programs are (ArduinoTask, ArduinoTaskHID, ArduinoTiminTest, ArduinoCommTest and ArduinoCommSpeedTest.

I'm sorry that I missed this issue. It has been years since I last looked at this project, and I'm currently out of the country at a research conference, but I'd be happy to take a look when I return, if for no other reason than to help people who come later.
