Edit after selling

Description

Able to edit the price after selling the goods. The revenue reflected is the old price. Could either not allow users to edit the price if all the goods are sold or update the revenue to show the new value.

Steps to reproduce

add rice 5 1
sold 1 5
revenue
update 1 /price 2
revenue

Expected

Revenue should be $10

Actual

Revenue is $5

This might be confusing when users are accounting later on.

Team's Response

We actually received the opposite version of this bug during the PE-D, where the tester recommended that the old revenue before any price changes should not be affected by the price changes. For example, if revenue = 5 x $1 = $5 and the price is increased to $2, the tester recommended that the revenue should stay at $5 instead of increasing to $10. Thus, we fixed that bug during this product version. However, giving users a choice when changing the price of a product, either to keep the same revenue or to update the revenue given the new price, can be implemented in future versions.

In addition, it does not make logical sense to update revenue based on the updated price, as the revenue was generated from the previous price. Updating the revenue because the price has changed basically means you are creating money out of thin air which is highly unrealistic in a real life business setting.
