10*3.[AU]/L cannot validate @ units-of-measurement.org/

Hello,

I am attempting to map a source unit, that represents thousand allergen-specific IgE antibody units per liter, to the target 10*3.[AU]/L. I have found this unit on the UCUM unit expression validation website (https://ucum.nlm.nih.gov/), but unable to validate it on the units-of-measurement.org website. Is 10*3.[AU]/L the wrong representation? I found these units represented on the OMOP Athena website as
10*3.[UA]/L. Which is correct? Does it matter if I cannot validate it on the units-of-measurement.org website?

Hi, I am not a member of UCUM but I maintain ucumate, a library for parsing, validating, and converting UCUM expressions. The expression 10*3.[AU]/L should be valid. ucumate says it's valid, you can test it yourself by visiting the online-demo and typing 10*3.[AU]/L into the validator (first tab).
In general there is no "official" tool to validate UCUM expressions, so your best bet is to use several libraries and compare the results. I think the ucumate library is the most correct implementation but that is heavily opinionated since I am the author.
