Hello REFPROP community,
I am currently using REFPROP successfully through the Python ctREFPROP wrapper, but for part of my workflow I would need to access REFPROP from a Java-based application.
I could not find an official Java wrapper provided by NIST, nor any maintained third-party Java bindings. Before attempting to develop one myself, I wanted to ask:
- Has anyone in the community already developed a Java wrapper for REFPROP?
- If so, is it publicly available or something that could be shared?
- Are there any known technical or licensing limitations that would discourage a Java binding?
I am aware of the licensing constraints and that REFPROP is distributed as a native DLL/SO, but I wanted to check whether prior work exists before reinventing the wheel. Any guidance or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for maintaining REFPROP and for your continued support of the user community.
Sincerely,
Leo
