Frameworks

1. Material UI

   • framework of components for building your own UI as a composition of components
   • pre-styled UI components
   • options to apply custom styles (but if there is no need for custom designs, you can avoid them with MUI)
   • widely used
   • slow performance?
   • relatively heavy weight

2. Chakra UI

   • more layout-focused library than MUI
   • requires less code than MUI
   • easily customizable
   • relatively new -> not as popular as MUI -> rather small community
   • intuitive, easy to learn

3. Tailwind CSS

   • framework for styling on your own components
   • provides atomic CSS classes to help you to style components -> other things like accessibility, keyboard navigation, component composition etc must be handled manually or otherwise -> no default styled components
