Requesting clarification on compatibility with the new HA 2025.3 SmartThings integration

Due to the significant functionality improvements this integration adds to SmartThings AC devices I would still prefer to continue to use this custom integration vs the built-in.

I'm curious if the developer, or anyone, has found any issues, and/or if there is a patch under development.

Me too, but the 24H token expire makes it a problem.

I'm having the same problem. samsung changed the duration to 24hr for new tokens https://community.smartthings.com/t/changes-to-personal-access-tokens-pat/292019
I changed the region of my account, to test one thing and I lost my token.
The only way to make it work correctly is to implement oauth, which I guess is an important change.

it is possible that the reason why the new official integration still lacks these features because the dev just isnt aware of them, or aware of the demand for them. Has anyone directed the dev to this place and tell them to check it out on what next to add/implement?

I don't know. I get the impression that developer has been quite busy updating compatibility for their own smartthings integration, adding new features would likely not be a priority at this point.

Just from my own personal interest, enabling HVAC features such as LED lights and preset modes seems essential. But that integration developer has previously not positively responded to requests for these, so I don't expect much to happen any time soon.

I am fortunate I have a grandfathered long-lived Smartthings PAT, and with some workarounds I can still get this fork to (more or less) work. But for how much longer?

This developer has already stated he's done with this fork and is also asking for cash to open source it, plus he also hasn't made any further comment here. So I don't think he's serious at all. I'm just gonna hope for the best that nothing breaks even further.

Same problem after one day and restart Home assistant smarthings is asking to add integration again.... this is blocker for daily using
