Text Size field styling

Couple of questions about the styles of Text Size fields (Button Box v2.0.3):

1. Shouldn't it look somewhat like a <select> menu when closed? The green checkmark is a regular Craft <select> field; the red is a Button Box Text Select field.
   

2. Is is supposed to be floating to the left when opened?
