Feature Request: Detect Pasted Text

Detect when a user pastes text into the editor instead of typing it manually. When a paste happens, record that event and the amount of text pasted. This will help differentiate pasted content from naturally typed content in analysis.

I want to work on the paste detection feature in Vi-Notes.

The idea is to detect when text is pasted into the editor instead of being typed and record this as an event, without ever capturing the actual text. This helps distinguish naturally written content from content that may have been copied from elsewhere (including AI-generated text). (The feature to be tested)

What exactly will be detected
When a user pastes text, the system will:
Detect that a paste action occurred
Record when it happened
Record how much text was inserted (character count/length).
Record basic context, like whether it happened after a long pause or at a new paragraph

Importantly, no content is stored, only the metadata required.

I would like to work on the Detect Pasted Text feature (#4).

My approach is to detect paste events in the editor and record only metadata, without capturing any actual text content. Specifically, I plan to:

• Detect when a paste action occurs
• Record the timestamp of the event
• Capture the length of the pasted content (character count)
• Optionally track basic context, such as whether the paste occurred after a pause or at a new paragraph

This implementation will strictly follow privacy requirements by storing only behavioral metadata and not the content itself.

I will start with a basic implementation and can enhance it further if needed. Please let me know if this approach looks good.
