Great work and thank you so much for a needed adaptation of conventions for exceptions. One of those that make you think "how come this doesn't exist in XYZ already?".
My suggestion is to make it easier to build custom API exceptions with more options than just a message. But what options? For this I think the JSON API standard has it covered it well. Actually, this gem makes it simple to do that but it doesn't come with the amazing laziness features your gem provides out of the box 😊.
