I'm trying to connect to my spree 4.4 backend api but the demo site just persists I noticed differences in using export and placing my variables in /etc/environment If I place the variable in /etc/environment they can be retrieved with printenv but if I use the export command then they can be retrieved with export with no arguments but not with printenv but the docs say to use export
