unable to login using current Zorin

Describe the bug

Latest Zorin (18.1Pro), logged into Warp account via Zen browser, get email confirmation at registered address, Zen & Vivaldi can both open the link but Linux cannot find an app to open the provided key, and Warp does not open my account when i paste in the key as copied via the web-page instructions.
Everything is working fine in Manjaro...

I concluded that linux/Zorin auth handoff fails after browser login and matches existing Linux auth-flow failures where the browser redirect or pasted token does not complete sign-in..
