Hi!
I'd like you to take a look at Domoticz (open source) project.
It's basically what you're looking for and trying to make, the only thing is that it doensn't have the interpreter yet (of the arduino-gateway code).

It also does log the data, put them on nice graphs and generates reports.
Maybe you could join the project? Or support the community with interpreter of data?
(I ain't developer).

Will have a look at it again, Last time I almost, over a year ago, I didn't find an simple API to create devices and input data. Looks like there is a MQTT and JSON API, Will see if I can use them in a simple way from the python implementation I already have.

MQTT is done by the node.js and then translated to JSON-query and then - at last - it goes to Domoticz, so it's a laggy no-no option.
The best it would be to help authors translate MySensors to Domoticz's core code as a device.

The question is old and doesn’t represent the code. committed to this repos. The committed version supports the 1.2 mysensor protocol. The current code supports to set variables in domoticz by http get. I moved over to openhab since I like it more and it supports sending data from and to openhab.

I have a new version supporting 1.4 of the mysensor protocol on my computer but it’s not completed. I move away from the openhab rest api and now use the mqtt api. Also dropped the domoticz http get. Will see if I can’t commit the code during the week. The last year I have had very limited time to code and test things.
