[Feature Request] Enable Scroll Button on Remote to Adjust Video Progress/Playback

Currently, navigating video playback (seeking forward or backward) on LG webOS TVs relies mainly on traditional fast-forward and rewind buttons or manual dragging using the pointer.

Feature Request:
Allow users to use the scroll wheel/button on the Magic Remote (the middle scroll wheel) to intuitively adjust the video playback position:

Scroll Up: Seek forward (e.g., by 10 seconds per scroll unit)

Scroll Down: Seek backward (e.g., by 10 seconds per scroll unit)

Benefits:

Faster and more precise control over video playback.

More ergonomic and natural use of the Magic Remote.

Improved user experience, especially for long videos or when minor adjustments are needed.

Notes:

Optional setting to enable/disable scroll seeking in user preferences would be appreciated.

Could also integrate smooth acceleration if the scroll is continuous.

The suggestioin to make better use of the scroll wheel is a good one, but it doesn't make a lot of natural intuitive sense to use its up/down motion in my opinion to adjust what is essentially left/right activity. If the scroll wheel was to be used for anything, it should be navigation of the video thumbnail menu screen which is natively up/down and would make much more logical sense to be navigable via the wheel just as it is on the YT website from a computer via a mouse wheel.

Before any of this though, there are far more important bug fixes which need addressing such as the row of unwanted shorts video thumbnails on subscribed threads problem and the lack of colour-coding for skipped segments on the video time bar. Both are genuine annoyances that remove or degrade existing functionality and userability which should have priority over adding any new functionality.

I will strongly disagree with that..

Have you used macbook track pads ? They have inverse scroll enabled by default, you have to manually change it via settings, we have to give people that option..

My point is that scroll wheel elements number of clicks and also enables seamless playback progress without having to use any buttons or pointer gestures...

what I'll do for now is, make it an option in advanced settings for the user to enable/disable it if they require to..

"have to"? Why? OSX is used by fewer than 5% of computers worldwide. It's right up there in popularity with Linux and 'Other/Unknown'. So why do you "have to" give people an option that is meaningless to the other 95%?

I'm just saying that it makes more sense to accommodate the largest possible audience first. Generally speaking, you don't target a new product at the most niche market you can find first.

i really wish a CH+ and CH- (Page Up Page Down) in subscriptions list names of the channels to scroll faster and possibly to sort alphabetically
