This border, just like the youtube logo, can cause permanent burn in on OLED tvs with all tv safety features enabled, regardless of brightness because LG allows the app to override brightness on certain things. The border is so thick that "screen shift" does not provide any protection and "pixel refresher" does not work in many cases to resolve the issue. Even when scrolling through videos, up and down or left or right, the border never actually moves and is always sitting idle in the same exact spot as bright white as can be.
Your app provides an option to remove the youtube logo which is an amazing feature to protect your tv. If removing the border is impossible or nonviable, thin the border and/or request that the border emit half the nits or some sort of protection to prevent burn in. Would be much appreciated.
