Absolutely brilliant what you made here - thanks so much for sharing. I have made two in my house connected to node-red and HA. Just brilliant.
One thing: I love the custom animations like PACMAN. But I usually want the effect to run as the without_exit mode - so the text message stays on screen. Then once I clear the message (sending an empty text string in a msg.payload I was hoping the PACMAN would return and chew away the message. Instead he comes in again with the empty test string and thus the magic of the effect is not completely perfect (as anything else in the project is).
Maybe I am missing something or doing it wrong?
