Layout: hardware-verify ANSI / ISO-UK / ISO-ES / ISO-FR (currently unverified)Β #7

Description

Status

Shipped in 0.7.0-beta but πŸ§ͺ unverified β€” slot allocation is hand-derived from the AK820 Pro ISO-DE firmware export. Wire protocol is layout-agnostic, so remapping and lighting should work. What we don't know is whether the on-screen rendering matches the physical key positions on those variants.

What's needed (one per variant)

  • A user with the corresponding hardware variant of the AK820 Pro.
  • Compare each key's printed legend against the layout file's slot label.
  • Report discrepancies (wrong slot, wrong width, wrong physical position).

How to verify

  1. Pick your hardware variant in the sidebar.
  2. Walk the keymap view from top-left to bottom-right.
  3. For each physical key on the keyboard, confirm the on-screen label matches the printed legend.
  4. Open a PR with corrections, or comment with photos and we'll patch.

Acceptance per variant

  • Markdown checklist of all ~85 keys, each ticked off by the verifier.
  • Layout file's docstring updated from πŸ§ͺ unverified β†’ βœ… hardware-verified.
