Keybinds to open attachments and move mssage to a specific folder

Does someone know if we can bind these functionalities to a key?

Back on Keyconfig, we could set these shortcuts, but it won't work on tbkeys.

So the open attachment command works, but your command is the one used on Keyconfig, and not on tbkeys, right?

I had to adapt the code by writing this line:
"a": "cmd:cmd_openAllAttachments"

Regarding the move messgae command, can you give me the exact line I have to put on tbkeys?

I changed the folder target, and changed window.goDoCommand('cmd_moveMessage', targetFolder) to cmd:cmd_moveMessage', targetFolder, but it didn't work.

Can you give me the command line with the key bind "altgr + a"?

Are you using tbkey or tbkeys-lite?

You cannot run arbitrary javascript with tbkeys-lite.

You can use the cmd shorthand and func shorthand with tbkeys and tbkeys-lite.

Use the cmd shorthand for calling a command using the goDoCommand method.

For example, "cmd:cmd_nextMsg" is the same as "window.goDoCommand('cmd_nextMsg');".

Use the func shorthand for calling a function on the window object without a parameter.

For example, "func:MsgNewMessage" is the same as "window.MsgNewMessage();".

Here is a valid JSON string for the settings page.

Remember to edit the targetUri variable in the Ctrl+3 command. Don't try to guess a folder URI.

You can run the Ctrl+2 command to show the currently selected folder URI.

The addon uses Mousetrap to bind key sequences to custom commands.

The ctrl+3 command doesn't work.

The targetUri is the path of the folder we get when going to the folder properties, right? In my case, I use this as the URI :
imap://t093039@popimap.oc.dgfip/MAILS_OK_POUR_ARCHIVAGE

I tried to put ctrl+L, and when I press the shortcut, it opens the mail to reply.

For information, I'm using Thunderbird 115, I'm not sure if this can affect the extrension.

And as for the ctrl+2 command, it does nothing.

The code snippet works for me using the error console. I'm using Thunderbird 140.

Use the lowercase l instead of the uppercase L.

e.g. "ctrl+l" or "ctrl+shift+l", not "ctrl+L"

Try using the error console.

window.gTabmail.currentAbout3Pane.gFolder.URI;

Instructions:

• select a folder using the mouse
• open error console

i.e. Menu Bar > Tools > Developer Tools > Error Console

• copy code snippet from github page
• paste code snippet to error console
• press enter to run
• select folder uri
• copy folder uri

The keyboard shortcut must be lowercase.

e.g. "ctrl+l" or "ctrl+shift+l", not "ctrl+L"

The JSON string must be valid.

e.g.

So I used the command your mentioned on the error console, and it actually gave me the same thing as in the folder property.

I have an "imap:" at the beginning of the URI, I guess I must copy it as well.

However, it still doesn't work, I used you JSON validator link to check my command line, and it gives me an invalid JSON message:

Are you missing the first { character? I got that JSON error after removing the first { character.

What tbkeys version are you using in Thunderbird 115? I think tbkeys 2.3.0 is correct. Remember to uninstall the tbkey-lite addon.

Right now, I'm testing on thundebird 143 at home.
The v115 is at work, but I think the command lines should be the same.

So here's the exact lines on my tbkeys compose key bindings (obviously, I changed the actual path name by "..." for the example):

It finally worked!

At first, when I put the command line on main key bindings, for some reason it won't let me save.
I restored tbkeys defaults, then could save the command on this section.

Thank you so much for your patience and your help!
I'll try this at work, on TB 115, but it should works on this version as well.

By the way, if we can put de "ctrl+..." shortcuts in the main key bindings, what's the point of of the compose key bindings section?
