checkmarks for watched files are missing

Also the arrowhead (playhead) symbol for partially watched files is missing. Note that resuming from the last playback position is working with vfs.libarchive, even though the symbol doesn't show.

I just upgraded to the the first stable Leia release on Raspbian, but will need to go back to Krypton to easily see where I am in watching a season. Hope this can be fixed soon.

Note: the issue persists after my RPi2 updated to vfs.libarchive 1.0.5 and Kodi 18.1

same problem for me, it asks to continue at specific position, but it does not marc as seen or partially seen which is frustrating, since I usually can not remember where I stopped watching

I use OSMC with kodi 18 and vfs.libarchive 1.0.5

issue seems resolved after upgrading Kodi 18.4 to 18.5
(vfs.libarchive still at 1.0.5-1~stretch armhf)

EDIT: spoke too soon. Checkmarks still disappear.
