Sync and lost local data after time when connection to API failed (not communication with local server)

I have a Firefox installation on a Mint server—several VMs and a local repository.

When I’m connected via VPN and cut off from the local infrastructure, I add bookmarks, then end the VPN connection and reconnect to the local infrastructure, and click “update sync” in the extension.

At that point, the bookmarks added locally while there was no connection disappear.
